Winning the Royal Rumble is one of the best things a WWE superstar can do in his career, earning him the WrestleManian title as the biggest show of the year.
Many warriors used this platform to climb the main peaks, but some withstood the fierce royal battles and fell on the most spectacular stage.
Let's look back and see some of the worst WrestleManian Royal Rumble winners.
The early matches of the Royal Rumble were not as impressive as the finals, so it is not fair to judge these winners accordingly.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan, for example, won his first event in 1988, when only 20 people did not compete in the WrestleMania IV title race. However, moving to the belt championship, he knocked out Ted Dibias in the first round.
Big John Studd won in 1989. At the Royal Rumble, however, WrestleMania V was the only special guest judge.
Hulk Hogan won the Games in 1990-1991 and fought for the title every two years. He lost to Rick Flair in 1992, but still won WrestleMania VII.
The more you study the 1995 Royal Rumble, the less impressive Sean Michaels' victory will be.
The Heartbreak Kid entered No. 1 Ö‡ although one of his shoes hit the ground, he crossed the distance Ö‡ won. He had tremendous control skills Ö‡ was one of the best erasers in Rumble's history.
However, the Royal Rumble was the shortest, as each entry took only 60 seconds, not 90 seconds. Many of the contestants had boring names, so the victory itself was not as intense as it could have been.
However, not only did Michael miss the WrestleMania Main Event that year, the prizes went to Lawrence Taylor Ö‡ Bam Bam Bigelow, but he also missed the WWE Championship game with Diesel.
HBK made up for it by winning the Royal Rumble in 1996 and winning the Iron Man match against Brett Hart in WrestleMania XII.
It's one thing to win at Royal Rumble, it's another to fail at WrestleManian's title game, but it's another thing to show that you did not even win at Rumble.
This is what happened to The Rock in 2000, when The Big Show's feet hit the ground as it peaked.
It was The Rock's Royal Rumble's only victory, Ö‡ his career at WrestleMania was marred by McMahon's family drama that year.
It was amazing to see the Page recover so quickly from the victorious 2010 Royal Rumble. It was a surprise for several months, and the 29th place was a surprise competitor.
Unfortunately, this is not the end of the story.
Edge's hourly rival Chris Jericho won the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber's The Rated-R Superstar's WrestleMania XXVI for a clean slate.
Instead, Jericho kept his belt in Codebreaker, ordered the WWE Edger to throw himself off the barricade as compensation, and no one was a champion for days. Instead, Jack Swagger won his Money Bank contract and won the Y2J belt.
With such scenarios, one would be surprised how foolish it would be for WWE fans to know how to solve problems if it was obvious what they really wanted.
